Ghostbusters Screening and Discussion: 8:00 PM
Join us in the grotto as we, in conjunction with Underdog Productions, screen the 2016 remake of the blockbuster hit, Ghostbusters. Afterwards, we will host a discussion about the movie and the role and reception of female comedians.

Join members of the Student Government Association in Highsmith 221, as they lead a discussion about classroom etiquette, and how to discuss sensitive issues in a productive and beneficial way.

Join our panel of local businesswomen and professionals in the Grotto as they talk about their professional experiences, educational background, and take questions from the audience

She's the First is known for our tasty cupcakes! Stop by the Grotto to decorate your own cupcake with icing, sprinkles, candy, and more!
"He for She" Workshop: 3:15-3:50 PM
Why is equal representation in education important? Why does She's the First target girls only? Why is girls' education not just a women's issue? Join John Wanda, the co-founder of the Arlington Academy of Hope in Highsmith 221 to learn about his educational experiences, and why he endorses "he for she"
Day in the Life of a Girl Challenge: 4:00-4:30 PM
Do you know what an average day for a girl looks like in different areas around the world? Meet us in Highsmith 221, where we will give you a sheet of tasks that girls around the world have to complete, in addition to their schooling. The first team/person to complete the challenge, which will take you across campus, will receive a free 50 cupcake catering order for an event of their choosing!
Trivia: 4:45-5:30 PM
How much do you know about girls' education? What about global health? Educational systems across the world? Show off your knowledge during our trivia session in Highsmith 221. The winning team will receive a free 50 cupcake catering order for an event of their choosing!
The State of Girls' Education Globally and In Western North Carolina-Panel and Dinner: 6:00-7:00 PM
Join She's the First UNC Asheville in Alumni Hall for free pizza and dinner, as our panelists discuss girl's education on a local and global scale. What barriers do young girls face? What solutions and steps are local and global nonprofits taking? Why does it matter? How do we help?
Movie Screening: 7:00-8:30 PM
Join us in Alumni Hall as we host a film screening about girls' education across the globe
Closing Remarks, Raffle Drawing, and Open Mic Night: 8:30 PM
Join us in Alumni Hall as we wrap up our Summit on Education!
